Who can join
Membership is designed to be
all inclusive and open to any individual community group, voluntary
organisation and social enterprise working within the unitary authority
boundaries of Brighton & Hove which support the aims and objectives of
our organisation, these being;
- to pursue general charitable and or
social objectives for the benefit of the community
- do not exist to pursue commercial
objectives
- are accountable to members or users in
the Brighton & Hove area and are primarily governed by volunteers
and have a constitution or other accepted rules of working.
It is the group or organisation which can
become a member of the Working Together Project. Eligibility extends
to discrete projects, which are part of a larger body.
Membership policy
The representative of the organisation
should not be named. Notification of membership meetings will be
addressed to the group or organisation and will only contain one voting
card. Providing there is space at the venue, all membership meetings
can be attended by as many people as the member group or organisation
would like to send.
All members are expected to comply with the
policies and procedures of the Working Together Project when attending
membership meetings or attending any activity of the organisation.
Please see the Brighton & Hove Working
Together membership policy for more details.
