| We are a membership-led organisation open to all community
and voluntary groups in Brighton & Hove. We are committed to
developing a strong membership and formalising the process of
accountability to the constituency that we serve, so that the organisation
is owned and led by its members.
Although you do not need to become a member in order
to access our services, if you would like to be involved in the
running of the project, membership is advisable.
To become a member of the Brighton &
Hove Working Together Project, follow these two steps;
- Check that your organisation meets the
membership criteria
- fill in the application for membership
The entitlements of joining
Becoming a member is free of charge and entitles you to vote on issues and
stand for election for the Trustee Board.
The benefits of joining
Your
organisation will be able to influence and determine the organisation's priorities in
delivering training that meets the needs of its members and the wider
community and voluntary sector. You will also be able to assist in
developing the self-help ethos of the sectors through the management and
planning of the services you would want as users.
