Registration of Groups, Organisations and Social Enterprise Organisations

Companies House has three main functions which are  the incorporation, re-registration and striking-off of companies; the registration of documents that must be filed under company, insolvency and related legislation and the provision of company information to the public - for this purpose we enforce compliance with legal requirements.

Charities Commission Has three offices located in London, Liverpool and Taunton. All three offices do the same type of work, but this is distributed between offices on a geographical basis. The location of a charity (usually found in the correspondent address) determines which office is responsible and therefore the London office is the most relevant for Brighton and Hove.
